The Jegas API code is LGPL licensed to Jegas, LLC. This license was chosen to allow both commercial and free software developers alike to benefit from it.

If you want to distribute, copy or modify the Jegas API, you are welcome to so under the terms of the above mentioned LGPL obligations.

There is an argument against the LGPL by GNU suggesting an initiaive about free vs. propritary software and  the intended meaning of FREE in regards to free software: freedom. We agree with this ideal however we also believe that making a living from the skills you have learned is equally respectable.

One of the most inspirational teams of programmers I have learned from is the FreePascal.org's original author's. They produced a programming language that is open source and out of respect I asked if I may create commercial programs with it... and the answer was a resounding YES!

I'll have you know I released numerous free software packages for helping people make video games to console based application on Linux as well as teaching interested people how to program online via tips and word of experience.

I pass the torch... I have work to do...

The JegasAPI is a lean, mean and fast FreePascal based systems programming API that offers and alternative method to create great software that is a bit out the main stream.
Some applications for the JegasAPI include server software, utilities, communications software and video games. The JegasAPI is written primarily in FreePascal and has upwards of 60,000 lines of quality, tested code!
